Ingredients

1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped

2/3 cup unsweetened orange juice

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Sugar substitute, to taste

Directions

In a microwaveable bowl, combine the cranberries, orange juice and cornstarch. Stir well. Microwave on high until the mixture thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir several times during cooking. Set aside to cool.

Add the sugar substitute to taste, equivalent of 1 teaspoon sugar. The glaze should be tart. Serve over chicken, turkey or pork. This is also an excellent sauce for grilling, roasting or using as a marinade.
